Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your participation in The Masterminders 2026, taking place on 24–26 June 2026 (“the Event”).
By purchasing a ticket or attending the Event, you agree to these Terms.

1. Ticket Purchase & Eligibility

1.1. All ticket sales are subject to our Refund Policy.
1.2. Tickets cannot be resold, transferred, or shared.
1.3. Attendees must be 18 years or older unless explicitly approved by the organisers.
1.4. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who violates these Terms.

2. Event Changes

2.1. The organisers may update or adjust the Event schedule, speakers, venue, agenda, or format at any time.
2.2. Such changes do not qualify for refunds.
2.3. The organisers are not responsible for speaker cancellations or last-minute modifications.

3. Event Cancellation or Postponement

3.1. If the Event is postponed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (including force majeure, venue issues, travel disruptions, health emergencies, or other unforeseen events), all tickets will be automatically moved to the next available date.
3.2. If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund within 14 days of the announcement.
3.3. The organisers are not liable for travel, accommodation, or any other associated costs.

4. Behaviour & Code of Conduct

4.1. Attendees must behave professionally, respectfully, and appropriately at all times.
4.2. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will result in removal from the Event without refund.
4.3. The organisers may remove any attendee who poses a risk to others or disrupts the Event.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Usage

5.1. All event materials—including slides, recordings, workshops, and presentations—are the property of the organisers or the respective speakers.
5.2. Attendees may not reproduce, share, livestream, record, or distribute event content without written permission.
5.3. The organisers may photograph, record, or livestream the Event.
5.4. By attending, you grant us the right to use your image, voice, and likeness in marketing or promotional materials without compensation.

6. Personal Belongings & Liability

6.1. Attendees are responsible for their own belongings.
6.2. The organisers take no responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
6.3. By attending the Event, you accept that participation is at your own risk.
6.4. The organisers are not liable for injury, illness, or damages resulting from attendance.

7. Prohibited Activities

Attendees may not:

  • bring illegal substances

  • engage in aggressive or unsafe behaviour

  • bring weapons or dangerous items

  • attempt to bypass access controls

  • impersonate staff or speakers

  • distribute marketing materials without prior approval

8. Privacy & Data Use

8.1. By purchasing a ticket, you agree that we may store and process your information for:

  • event communication

  • ticket verification

  • marketing updates (you may opt-out at any time)

8.2. We do not sell or rent attendee data to third parties.
8.3. We may share limited necessary data with event partners (e.g., venue security, ticketing systems).

9. No Commercial Exploitation

9.1. Attendees may not use the Event for unauthorised commercial promotion.
9.2. Selling products or services is prohibited unless approved as an official sponsor or vendor.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket or attending The Masterminders 2026, you confirm that you:

  • have read these Terms

  • understand them

  • agree to be bound by them

The organisers reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
